This week: Scholar-in-Residence
Rabbi Avi Billet

Rabbi Billet is an educator, mohel, writer, and actor. He currently works
for the National Jewish Outreach Program, where he is in charge of writing
and implementing Jewish education initiatives. He writes a weekly Torah
column in The Jewish Star of Long Island and recently finished authoring a
practical book for new parents on the ins and outs of bris milah. Rabbi
Billet has spent summers as drama director in Camp Moshava and has a
recurring role in the play "The Quarrel" which will next be performed in
Manhattan on March 17. He and his wife Chana are the parents of Aliza,
Yehuda and Yael.

On Shabbat day, Rabbi Billet will be speaking about the following three
