MATONOT L'EVYONIM
This year, the Young Israel is choosing Keren Ezra, a Tzedaka that helps the
poor in Beit El, of Eretz Yisroel.
We are also recommending Tishkofet/Life's Door, which helps families deal
with catastrophic illnesses. Your gifts can be sent via www.lifesdoor.org.
We are also pleased to encourage contributions to Paamonim, which is
involved with helping people dig themselves out of debt. You can help by
sending via www.paamonim.com.
Special thanks to Ilan Fogel and Aviva Luden.
SEUDAH
This year, Purim on Friday gives us unique ways to do the festive meal. We
will have a Seudah in shul following Mincha at 5:00pm.
At about 6:45, we will adjourn to the sanctuary for Kabbalat Shabbat and
Maariv, (candle lighting will be provided) and afterwards, enjoy the
traditional Shabbat meal in the Simcha Hall Persian style.
The cost is $25 per adult, $5 per child with a family maximum of $60.
Guita Silverstein is coordinating the Seudah.
Checks can be made payable to YI and Paypal is available as another option.
We take this opportunity to wish you all a Freilichin Purim.
